Welcome to the Nativity family of Eucharistic Adorers!
And thank you for responding to the call of our Lord to spend time with him in the Blessed Sacrament.
Your commitment makes Perpetual Adoration possible for all of us in the Nativity parish family. Be assured that you bring great joy to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Thank you and may God bless the time you spend with Him in Adoration.
Please plan to arrive a few minutes prior to your hour and sign in online here or manually at the sign-in table in the church.
We are adorers, but we are also guardians of the Blessed Sacrament. In exchange for the privilege of having Perpetual Adoration, the Nativity parish family has accepted the responsibility of maintaining a presence before our Lord at all times. The logbook plays a vital role in monitoring that responsibility.
Our Lord, exposed in the Blessed Sacrament, cannot be left unattended.
If the next scheduled adorer does not arrive on time, please wait a few minutes and/or contact them before leaving. (It is recommended that committed adorers keep their schedule clear of commitments for about 15-30 minutes after their committed hour in anticipation of the occasional need to stay later.) We apologize for any inconvenience caused by late or absent adorers.
In case of an emergency, or if you can otherwise not wait for someone else to show up, and there is no one else in the chapel, call the parish office at (651) 696-5401 or Jim at (763) 746-8244.
Committed Adorers are asked to find a substitute when needed, and to communicate with other affected Adorers when there is an unavoidable lapse.
Visit https://adorationpro.org/nativity and click “Find a Sub”, using The sub list is a great resource for you when planning for vacations or other conflicts. Another great resource for a sub is to swap with someone who has the same hour on a different day. The Adorer schedules can help you find those names.
Need a sub?
Visit the sub page and use the password you received when you signed up (if lost, contact Jim via email or at 763-746-8244). You can then select "Auto Sub Request" where you can send a message to those who are available to sub during your needed hour. You can also choose "Manually Find a Sub From a List," where you'll see contact info from the entire pool of subs.
Need to contact another Adorer?
Visit the sub page and use the password you received when you signed up (if lost, contact Jim via email or at 763-746-8244). Select "Manually Find a Sub From a List," then page down to find the schedule of Adorers and their contact information.
Ideally, inclement weather can be anticipated, Adorers will be contacted via email, and the Blessed Sacrament will be reposed, relieving scheduled adorers of their commitment for a particular day(s).
Otherwise, Adorers should decide for themselves when travel conditions present a risk to their safety when commuting to the Adoration Chapel for their commitment. Just contact your partner(s) and those before and after on the schedule, when applicable.
***When in doubt, please err on the side of safety!***
If no one is able to attend an Adoration hour, for safety reasons or otherwise, please call the parish office at (651) 696-5401 or Jim at (763) 746-8244.
Even in the case of inclement weather, however, the chapel will typically still remain open for those who still wish to pray.
