Holy Week and The Sacred Triduum 2024

Beginning with the Mass of Our Lord's Supper on Holy Thursday, the Sacred Triduum is one continuous, three-day-long liturgy commemorating the passion, death, and resurrection of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The Stations of the Cross, the devotion of following the footsteps of Christ to his death on Mt. Calvary, will be offered at 12:00 PM on Good Friday.

Stations are also offered in the church on all Fridays of Lent (February 16 - March 15) shortly after the 5:00 PM Mass. Finally, the School will offer Stations for their students at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 15, and again invite senior members of the parish to join them.

Extra Confession times will be offered during Holy Week:

• Monday, 3/25
  • Confessions will be available with Fr. Tollefson or Fr. Duffert from 7:00-8:00 AM

• Tuesday, 3/26
  • Fr. Tollefson or Fr. Duffert will be available at our usual time: 4:15-4:45 PM
  • Several visting priests (usually 10-12) join Fr. Tollefson and Fr. Duffert for our Lenten Penance Service at 7:00 PM.
    • There will be a brief communal liturgy at 7:00, followed by private Confessions available for as long as people are still in line.
    • All parishioners are invited and encouraged to attend and prepare our hearts for the passion, death and resurrection of Our Lord, Jesus Christ.

• Wednesday, 3/27
  • Fr. Tollefson or Fr. Duffert will be available at our usual time: 4:30-5:30 PM

• Holy Thursday, 3/28    
  • Fr. Tollefson or Fr. Duffert will be available from 5:30-6:30 PM and  8:15*-9:00 PM
    • (*Subject to end time of Mass of Our Lord's Supper)

• Good Friday, 3/29    
  • Fr. Tollefson or Fr. Duffert will be available from 1:30-2:30 PM, 4:30*-6:30 PM, and  8:15*-9:00 PM
    • (*Subject to end time of Good Friday Services)

• Holy Saturday, 3/30
  • No Confessions

• The school, ELC, and parish office is closed on Good Friday as well as Easter Monday.
• No 8:15 AM Mass Thursday-Saturday
• No 5:00 PM Mass Friday-Sunday
• No Adoration Friday-Sunday
