Our parish community is committed to supporting parishioners who are grieving the loss of a loved one. Grief is an individualized journey but is often eased by sharing your experience with others. As Christians, it is our desire to reach out to those who are suffering so that we might share the Gospel message of faith, hope and love.
We extend an invitation to attend our support group that typically meets twice monthly from September through May. This is an open group in which you can attend at any time. Our hope is to create a confidential, safe and non-judgmental atmosphere to provide comfort in your time of sorrow.
In addition to support for the loss of a loved one, there is support for other life situations in which grief is experienced, e.g. job loss, major illness, divorce.
You can also visit www.growingthroughlosstcsouth.com/ for metro grief support groups and online resources, including a video from one-time Nativity grief speaker Brenda DeMotte.
For additional information about Grief Support Ministry, or if you or a family member is in need of support, contact Beth at the parish office at the contact information at left.
If your need is immediate or regarding a death or serious illness, please call the
parish office at (651) 696-5401 and press #1 if you receive a recording.
