Fr. Patick, Fr. Nick, and Deacon Don, participated in a silent clergy march this past week in honor of the late George Floyd and invite each of us to think about how we can participate in the healing of our human community, locally and beyond. In particular, we are in communication with our local outreaches about how we can help. Check back here for updates.

Thankfully at this time, Keystone is doing well with food donations, but welcomes financial contributions. Our Society of St. Vincent de Paul Conference continues to accept monetary donations to support its ongoing ministries. See below for more information and links to online giving.

The Nativity of Our Lord Conference (chapter) of the Society of SVdP supports the poor in our parish and in our community through home visits and direct financial assistance.

In the aftermath of the police killing of George Floyd, their Minneapolis thrift store was looted, and they've lost funding for their food bank, Vinnie's Hope, which feeds more than 10,000 people each week. They've set up a GoFundMe for necessary repairs and clean up of the store so they can continue our work of feeding those desperately in need.

Catholic Charities

You can volunteer at Catholic Charities'  St. Paul Distribution Center to assist with sorting and packing non-food donations, sorting and storing large quantities of food as well as helping with composting and recycling tasks, processing sizeable amounts of fresh fruits and vegetables, making sandwiches and/or other food service preparations.

Donations can be brought to the  St. Paul Distribution Center between 8:30am and 4pm. Here is their link to items of most need.

Serve Saint Paul: Neighbors Helping Neighbors is building a community of service in Saint Paul by connecting neighbors who could use a helping hand through this situation. In partnership with Cities of Service and AARP, this initiative engages volunteers to safely support community members who are experiencing barriers to meeting some basic needs due to age, mobility, income, or other factors.

The Catholic Community Foundation is a public charity serving the spiritual, educational and social needs of our community — in accordance with Catholic faith.

The CCF has established the “Neighbors in Need Fund” to provide grants to parishes and non-profits experiencing need due to the recent turmoil and unrest.
