The sacrament of Reconciliation provides Catholics with a wonderful opportunity to experience first-hand the abundant mercy and forgiveness of Christ.
Whereas many of the religious leaders of His day shunned sinners, Jesus associated with them and extended God's mercy to them with remarkable sympathy, sensitivity, and understanding.
During His three years of public ministry, Jesus showed through His words and actions that God is more merciful than we ever imagined. Those who came to Him heard God say: "Your sins are forgiven. Go in peace."
At Nativity of Our Lord, parishioners typically have the opportunity to celebrate this beautiful sacrament in the church every day of the week (see above for adjusted COVID-19 schedule):
Monday-Friday, 7:45-8:10 AM and 4:30-4:55 PM
Saturday, 3:30-4:30 PM
Children from the parish prepare to receive this sacrament during their second grade year at our school or as part of the Wednesday Faith Formation program.
